1) How does the IVR transaction works?

Call Mobile Money toll free number at 1800-8777-68. Mobile Money Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system will prompt you to key in:

eCash:

Mobile No:

Customer's eCash number (10 digit)#Transaction Amount # Merchant bill no/Reference numbers #Employee ID#

The Merchant would be able to get a confirmation on the transaction status immediately over the phone. The details that the Merchant would be provided with is the Payment Reference Number, Merchant Reference Number, Amount and the 3 digit approval code . This information will also be sent via the SMS to the Merchant on the registered mobile number for receiving SMS.

Customer's Mobile Number# Transaction Amount #Merchant bill no/Reference numbers #Employee ID# (Employee ID is not compulsory)

The Merchant is required to hang up the call and wait for the callback on the confirmation of the status of the transaction. The details that will be provided to the Merchant on the call will be Payment Reference Number, Merchant Reference Number and Amount.

(Can perform transaction by keying in Employee ID 000 or # # #)

 

 

2) How will I know if my transaction is successful?

eCash

•  Mobile Money IVR will respond with 'Successful Transaction' status over the phone with Merchant Reference Number, amount paid, MM payment reference number and 3digit approval code and you may hang up.

*As a merchant, you must write the 3 digit approval code on customer's copy of receipt for eCash transaction only.

Mobile Number

•  Mobile Money IVR will request Merchant to hang up.

•  Merchant will receive a callback with the transaction status, stating the Payment Reference Number, Merchant Reference Number and Amount.

•  Mobile Money will also notify the Merchant via SMS with all the above mentioned details.

3) How do I view my transaction?

You can log in to Mobile Money website at http://www.mobile-money.com to view all your transaction status and details.

 

4) What if the IVR billing hotline is down?

Please perform the transaction over the website or via alternative transaction methods provided. Example, SMS or the Mobile Money website, provided that the merchants have registered for the transaction methods.

 

5) Can I perform a transaction using an unregistered fixed phone line?

No. The Merchant IVR Billing would only recognize the registered fixed phone line.

 

6) Can I perform a transaction using my hunting line?

No. You only can perform transaction via your direct fixed phone line.
